Unexpected Love

Lyrics

I wasn't looking for you
But you found your way to me
Two broken hearts colliding
Like we were meant to be
Same food, same laugh, same heartbeat
Same love for open skies
I saw my whole world shifting
The moment I met your eyes
We were healing, we were hurting
But something felt so right
You were everything I needed
Showing up that night
You're my unexpected love
My favorite surprise
The one I never knew I needed
Right before my eyes
I don't know where we're going
But I know I won't let go
Cause baby you're the reason
I believe in us, I know
We laughed like we knew each other
Long before we met
Every moment spent together
One I won't forget
I promised I'd be with you
Through every win and fall
Be the man who lifts you higher
Baby through it all
Still uncertain bout tomorrow
But certain bout this love
Like the stars aligned to bring us
From the heavens up above
You're my unexpected love
My favorite surprise
The one I never knew I needed
Right before my eyes
I don't know where we're going
But I know I won't let go
Cause baby you're the reason
I believe in us, I know
Every late night conversation
Every meal we shared
Every time I looked at you girl
I saw how much you cared
I'm not perfect, but I promise
I will never walk away
You're the love I've been waiting for
And I'm here to stay
You're my unexpected love
My favorite surprise
The one I never knew I needed
Right before my eyes
I don't know where we're going
But I know I won't let go
Cause baby you're the reason
I believe in us, I know
We found each other broken
We helped each other heal
And everything I feel for you
Girl, you know it's real
So let me love you slowly
Let me love you right
You're my unexpected forever
My favorite light
