heart's on fire

Lyrics

when the sun goes down on a sleepy town tonight, there's a girl alone in her room dreaming of someone, maybe one fateful day, true love will come her way, 'cause her heart's on fire, in a lonely bar on the other side of town, there's a man who's trying his best to drown out his sorrow, heading back on the road, with really no place to go, but his heart's on fire, in the hands of destiny, never knowing if fate will lead to your one desire, it's the common thread we share, so many souls out there, with their hearts on fire, well she takes a drive just to get away from it all, it's for sure wherever she goes is better than nowhere, funny when she broke down, luckily he came around, with a heart on fire, who would ever think two hearts could meet, something left to chance and the summer heat, just when you least expect it, love will have a way of finding you, funny when she broke down, luckily he came around, when a heart on fire, in the hands of destiny, never knowing if fate will lead, to your one desire, it's the common thread we share, so many souls out there, with their heart's on fire
